Malu Mirones is an illustrator and visual development artist based in New York City. Originally from Panamá, Malu grew up around Latin American and US media, surrounding herself with fiction and storytelling in animation, books, live action, and music.

As an artist, her dream is to take new generations to magical places and on brave adventures, the way her childhood favorites did for her. Through illustration and visual development, Malu aims to create characters and environments that resonate with people and generate a sense of wonder within them. Her main goal right now is to grow as an artist and gain more industry experience.
